These warriors' devotion is so steadfast that they already consider themselves to be dead - hence the name of this terrifying faction. They willingly accept everyone into their ranks, from high born nobles looking for glory to criminals seeking a pardon, but once one joins the Legion of the Dead, the world writes them off forever. Much like the Grey Wardens, these fierce warriors dedicate their lives to battling the darkspawn in the Deep Roads and holding them at bay. Within the Dragon Age franchise, the Legion of the Dead are considered one of the most powerful and intimidating dwarven military forces.
